BEFORE THE SHOW:
I was so nervous about being late for the meet & greet. I actually got there 5
minutes late and then realized I had no where to park because the lot where the disabled
parking was not opened. So I asked a cop where I could park. My Aunt (who went with me)
was to nervous to park where the cop said we could, so I ran in to find the person who was
to take the Meet & Greet people back. So I wouldn't get left behind. When I got in I
asked a guy who was wearing a backstage pass if this is where I was supposed to be. Once I
said I was for the M & G to my surprise a friend of Ray's (who I know from the
Budapest show) tells the guy with the Pass (Brett) who I was and adds "She knows the
keyboard player". So I ran out to park my car. Then came back in for the M &
G. Meat started with the radio station winners, then talked to the radio people,& then
finally the M & G people. When he came to me we chatted a bit about the chat room on
his b-day and about the shirt I made for the show. I then introduced him to my Aunt. While
back for the M & G I was hoping to see some of the band members, but all I managed to
see was the back of Patti's head as she walked by.
Then when I came out I got to meet a lot of people I know from the Meat lists I am on ..It was so great to meet them. A moment later I saw Ray's wife and went over to say Hi to her. I showed her the picture from the Budapest show on my home-made shirt. Then I turn and who do I see but John. I went over and asked him if he ever got the Concert video I sent him, and he said "Yes". Then the other person standing there kindly took a picture of me & John..
NOW THE SHOW..
I though it started off a bit to loud. I knew it was going To be aloud evening but it seemed
like the mikes were to loud, because you could hear the vibrations in the sound. In any
case except for a few strange folks(Miss witness protection programme) the crowd
interaction was okay, although occasionally to long at times. They sang a lot of my
favourites. But I was really glad to finally see & hear the new version of Life is a
Lemon with a lot of them playing drums.. I was really hoping that they would do "Is
Nothing Sacred", but they didn't .. The sets were cool. Everyone seemed to be getting
into the songs last night (especially Patti). Although at times I think they probably were
getting restless from all the stories (like I was). The show it self went over 3
hours. Meat's mother in law was in the audience and he introduced her to the crowd.
Paradise was a riot. The people Meat had get up there were so funny. I think even Meat
& Patti were having a hard time not laughing( or cheering) like a lot of us in the
audience. I was taking pictures all through the show. This was my first time seeing Meat
do " Out of the Frying Pan", and it was great live.

Right before the show started I got to meet Susan. And boy did she have the biggest surprise of the evening for me. Thank You so much Susan. You don't know how much that After Show Pass meant to me. I am probably gonna be thanking you for a very long time.
AFTER THE SHOW:
After the show my Auntie & I went back with Susan an Jen.. Pearl came out first. But
since she was meeting the friends who came back with her Grandmother I just said a fast
HI.. I finally got to meet Patti which was a highlight for me. I also got to meet the
other band members and get my picture taken with them. It was really cool to see Ray
again. And I have to admit I was a bit beside myself because Ray & his wife actually
asked if my husband came with me. I would have like to stayed back longer but my Auntie
had to be up early for work, and I had a little over 3 hour drive back home on Wednesday
morning (so I could be back in time for the DC show). My only regret was I forgot to get a
few autographs. Oh well at least I got pictures..
