Review/My Experience (Link to pictures from the show at bottom of page)

When I got there I head first to the box office to see about something. Just as I got there I saw Ray and got to chat with him for a few minutes before he had to go in. I had brought flowers for Meat, Patti & Ray. I gave Ray his flowers before the show. And he said I was the first person to give him flowers. John was also outside.. Once we got in I saw Jay and got to meet Norma ..

I had 3rd row for this show, and I was so close it was ridiculous. But I loved every moment. It started off like Philly..But they ended up doing a bunch of WTTN songs or bits of. This show I thought was a bit better in that the audience was much better behaved and not annoying. The music was great. At one point Meat asked someone to go get him a few beers for a few select people, who he would give him to. But when the person tried to bring them back in they wouldn't let the beer in. So Meat marched off stage and out to the beer area so that the person would be allowed to bring the drinks in.

There was a lot of laughing during the show, even a bit from the band. One of the funniest moments was after the girl Meat picked to lie on the piano (for You Took The Words) told Meat she had a fantasy where she, Meat & Hulk Hogan were in a 3-some together. Meat said one of the first lines at the beginning of YTW to the girl on the piano. When she did it pretty well, Meat looked at Patti and said " I see you don't have to work tonight". But after the girl did a few lines Meat went to say the next, and well he didn't exactly get it right. Patti and Kas looked like they were ever so close to loosing it (laughing) after Meat blew the line. To hear  part of this little funny moment click DCYTW.rm

And well Paradise was so funny. The poor guy on stage was soaked at the end, because Meat got him with water. There was a guy who came dressed up as EDDIE, and Meat brought him on stage to sing HOT PATOOTIE..And this guy actually could sing it well. He upstaged Meat (just a tiny bit)..

The highlight of the night  for me came at the end of   "You Took The Words"...As the people were coming off stage. I made my way to the stairs. After they left I got to go up to give Meat & Patti their flowers. Meat took both things of flowers and gave Patti hers. As I was giving them and going back down Meat told everyone my name. Which was so cool..

To here a clip of me giving them the flowers click--->DC Show Flowers

Once I sat down I looked at Patti. Who mouthed "Thank You" to me boy am I glad I know how to read lips)..

A disappointment at the DC Show ( for me) was that one of the guitar picks Meat throw hit me. But then when I went to look forward it was not to be found. Even the people behind me were looking by their feet for me. Oh well. I managed to take 22 more pictures at the show before the guard stop me. Although this guard wasn't so good at stopping me. Because I have other permanent memories that he can't take away .
